Future Nostalgia
This generation is going to have some weird nostalgia….
The Man Who Laughs
Let’s be honest… the reason why everyone and their dog is going to see The Dark Knight on July 18th is THE JOKER !!! So lets hit the midnight movie barn for a trip back through the Batman movies of the past, and the men who brought the Clown Prince of Crime to maniacal life.
The Monks - Bad Habits (1979)
It wasn’t until just recently that I was finally able to make contact with other Monk aficionados. Re-live their first, and best, Pop-Punk Masterpiece !!!
The Haircut Hall ‘o Shame
A selection of atrocious hairstyles that had their fifteen minutes of fame, and then got buzzed off just as fast, and the musicians, athletes and actors that made them famous.
Prince Caspian Is My Homeboy
Remember, the brand new Prince Caspian movie will be in theaters May 16. That gives you just enough time to read the brilliant novel on which it’s based, and watch the BBC mini-series from the 80s that sparked a thousand adolescent imaginations.
Pop At The Pumps
The rise and fall of The Pop Shoppe, a Canadian homemade soft-drink revolution. Plus, a lament for the days when gas stations were more then just 24 hr. coffee and burrito barns.
Overclocked Oji Q&A
Larry “Liontamer” Oji took time out of his busy schedule as head submissions evaluator over at OcRemix.org to speak with us about his interests, experiences, and memories. This guy loves his video game music!
Classic Cocktail Bar
A tipsy trip back through time to when happy hour was anytime you wanted (even during work) , and the cocktail was the drink of choice! Includes recipes and memories of the classiest cocktails from Hollywood’s golden age.

I flipped on the news this morning, and along with truckloads of bad news from the Middle East, massive layoffs in Ontario, and the rising price of gas, I was devastated to learn that "America's Fastest Rising Fool(e)" George Carlin had died. The brilliant standup comedian and social satirist was famous for his wit, pointed views on... well everything, and became infamous for his "Seven Dirty Words" sketch (WARNING NSFW !!!). He was the first host of Saturday Night Live, a Catholic Cardinal in Dogma (1999) and the "Excellent" Rufus from the Bill 'n Ted movies. Of course Jess 'an I will always remember him as Mr. Conductor from Shining Time Station. He's 'hangin with Buddy Christ right now... He was 71 years young...
